Safer Roads Humber is proud to launch the iCar, a new road safety experience for young people.
Safer Roads Humber is the road safety partnership covering the Humber region whose overall aim is to reduce the number of people killed or injured on the region’s roads.
It includes East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Her Majesty’s Court Service, Highways Agency, Hull City Council, Humberside Fire and Rescue Service, Humberside Police, North East Lincolnshire Council and North Lincolnshire Council.
The Partnership also works closely with the Defence School of Transport at Leconfield and the Primary Care Trust. Throughout 2010, the iCar will be travelling the Humber region to engage with young people about the dangers they face as drivers or as passengers in young driver’s cars.
